This is a genuine rarity – an Australian pressing on the pink Island label of a fantastic Nick Drake album.Check out the scans of the vinyl and cover front and back
Nick Drake was an incredible talent who was only 26 when he died of an overdose. This album has members of Fairport Convention and others like John Cale helping out and shows how big his talent really was.
The vinyl plays with no crackles and is clean. The cover has some ringwear (see the scan) but is in really good condition for an album 34 years old. No edge splits, one only tiny (2 mm) nick on the open edge of the front. Someone has put one of those little gold stick on stars on the label but it will probably come off if the adhesive can be softened.
A fine album that is a wonderful tribute to an incredible talent.
