NICK DRAKE - BRYTER LAYTER UK ISLAND PINK RIM ILPS 9134, FIRST PRESS, A1- B1!
The time has come for me to trim the fat out of my collection a bit, and I could use a bit of extra cash, so I have decided to get rid of some odds and ends and doubles that I have kicking around. My loss can be your gain.
Here I have for sale is a very rare copy of Nick Drakes second album Bryter Later. It is an original UK island pink rim copy. If you are looking at this listing than you probably already know of the genius of Nick Drake, and if not you need to acquaint yourself ASAP. This album may be a bit weaker than the two that bookend it, but considering how amazing those two albums are, saying this one is only slightly less good still means it is heads and shoulders above many other albums out there. It is a must for any collector of British Folk or Island Records since very few copies were originally pressed, and the amount that are still floating are even fewer, never mind a copy that is in as nice of shape as this one. Which makes this copy VERY desirable, so now is the chance to add it to your collection.
Now lets get down to business.
The record is in NM- condition. I doubt it has ever been played very much at all before I got a hold of it, and I only spun it a couple of times as it was a back up copy to the one I am keeping.
The Sleeve is the original E.J. Day Group and is in excellent condition, the only things holding it back from being higher are the VERY minimal signs of ring wear on the bottom, right and top on the front cover and a VERY small amount on the top of the back cover. There is a pen mark and couple of scuffs on the back of the sleeve as well. I have included pictures to show all of these faults, I consider them to be very minimal, but you can decide for yourself. This copy also includes the blue island inner sleeve.
Grading: As per Goldmine Standards
-Vinyl: NM- (play graded, also just had it cleaned on a nitty gritty cleaning machine just to be safe)
-Sleeve: Ex+

I will be happy to provide insurance and tracking to the winning bidder, at their expense of course, but I will do my utmost to keep the shipping costs as low as possible. It is the least I can do since I know how much I hate being overcharged as a buyer!

This will be my first of a few records I will be putting up in the near future, so keep your eyes peeled, especially if you are a fan of early fleetwood mac. I will happily combine shipping if you should win more than one item.
