Description
I bought this (and Bryter Layter, please see my other listing) when Nick was alive and have had in my collection ever since it was first released.
It is in very good condition, with some very slight scuff marks on Side 1 only, which do not impair the sound, although there is the odd click now and then. Side 2 is unmarked. It has a very nice sheen to its surface on both sides. It is a first pressing with the following markings:
ILPS-9105
Marker A//2 and B//2
UK STEREO PINK LABEL ISSUE
The album comes with the original gatefold cover:
- with the lyrics for Three Hours [here titled 'Sundown'], Saturday Sun and River Man inside printed & made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd
- with the full Basing address on the reverse
It is in good condition for its age with light scuff markings around the edges as you might expect, with a slightly more damaged scuff to the bottom left hand corner, but nothing serious, see photos. The order of play is in the correct sequence on vinyl, but “Way to Blue” and “Day is Done” are transposed on the gatefold sleeve.
It also comes with the original blue polylined Island inner sleeve which is in very good condition.
Total cost quoted is based on uninsured shipping. I do not accept any responsibility for uninsured items that are lost or damaged in transit. If you wish to insure the item, please email me, and I will revise the cost before shipping.
Personal cheques are accepted, but the album will only be sent once payment has cleared.
I have tried to be as honest as I can and not hide any defects. I have used the Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide rating in trying to be as accurate as possible, however, if you have any questions, please contact me on 07795 673142 or email
