Nick Drake - "Pink Moon" Orig UK Island LP ILPS 9184, A-1U/B-1U PRESSING!!!

This was Nick's final LP, released in 1972, and has now passed into the "Legendary" category.  Words hardly describe just how beautiful, dark, and deep this music is.  The recording is first class, one of Island's very best.  AND THIS IS A  A-1U/B-1U PRESSING!!!

Please Note:  I've slightly modified this auction, as I had several eBay members "politely" point out that this couldn't possibly be a "First Press" or an "Original" because it's not a "Pink Rim" Island label, with the implication that I was being purposely misleading.  However, as you can plainly see in the photos, "A-1U" and "B-1U" are clearly stamped into the wax, so if that doesn't qualify as a "First Press", then I don't know what does.  However, I felt the need to point this out to you before you place your bid.

Owned by a fussy Audiophile who really took care of his stuff, this has been lovingly maintained over the years, and I should know, because I'm the original owner, and I purchased this in 1976.

CONDITION COVER:  STRONG VG++ (I debated if I should list this as NM; the jacket is clean, solid, and bright, with no seam splits and a straight spine; there are some minor creases on both the front and back; a little bit of scuffing along the front right bottom corner, and the faintest hint of ring wear on the back; gatefold is clean and looks lovely.  A magnificent copy of a truly great LP!!!)

For LPs that exceed $200 or higher, or any shipment of 6 LPs or more (over 4 lbs), I offer USPS International Express (3 to 5 days) for a flat fee of $45.00 for the 1st LP (my cost is actually $56), and $3.00 for each additional LP in the same box.  A SIGNATURE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL SHIPMENTS VALUED AT $200 OR MORE, OR 6 LPs OR MORE!  The best thing to do is wait for my revised invoice after the auction is over.
