Description
Gatefold sleeve with lyrics on inner part. Island pink rim label with Witchseason logo. Matrix numbers: ILPS 9184 A-1U / B-1U. Also a 1 on the runout (side 1) and 1 2 on side 2.
Cover printed by Tinsley Robor Group Ltd.
Cover has the odd mark back, front and inner but not really too bad for age. A small price sticker on front cover and some other sticky residue. Inner gatefold part has lines as if someone has drawn some ruled lines with an empty biro.
Disc looks a bit grubby. I can't find any major scratches but it may be that I'm not that good at finding them by the light of our low energy bulbs.. Best assume that there are some and that the record may not play particularly well.
Please note that I cannot test the record as I have no turntable. Also, I don't have the requisite skills to clean vinyl records so I sell them as I find them.
Starting price 99p with no reserve.
Record will be posted in a stout cardboard 12" record mailer. I shall insert a stiffener if I think it necessary.
More records will be listed over next few days.
Please don't hesitate to ask questions or set me straight if I've written something daft.
Best wishes.
I am adding this in response to a query from an interested party:
I have re-examined the record under a strong light and have found some definite scratches. I've no idea how these might affect the playability. If anyone bidding lives local to Hastings, Sussex and wants to bring a turntable to give the record a go, that would be fine and I would be happy to post the results of the test. I hope this has made things a bit clearer although, hopefully, all those interested would have taken notice of my note of caution in the original text. Please feel free to ask more questions. On 07-Jan-17 at 19:13:56 GMT, seller added the following information:I have been asked by a member to photograph the discs to show the scratches etc. I tried using a camera on a tripod whilst wearing a powerful head torch but couldn't capture anything useful. This is, no doubt, largely due to a combination of incompetence and low intelligence on my part. Also, I was keen to pack it in before my wife came home because I don't think she'd hesitate to call social services if she caught me doing that sort of thing. I did manage to see a fair amount of surface scratches and some that look deeper. I also saw. quite a lot of dust, small hairs and other deposits that I cannot identify but might be of interest to a forensic scientist. In my original text, I commented that the record may not play particularly well and I'm sure that those of you who are bidding have taken that into account. Those of you who are determined to have a copy that will play perfectly may be better off buying from someone who has tested the record and found it good. Feel free to bring a turntable and a cleaning kit round to my house, I make excellent coffee.
