A1 - D1 Recorded at The Music Room, Far Leys, Tanworth in Arden, between 1967 / 1968.
D2 - D5 Island demos engineered by John Wood and rejected arrangments. Recorded at Sound Techniques, Chelsea, London. Between July 1968 - December 1968.
D6 - E4 Recorded by Brian Wells, Hampstead, London 1969.
E5 - F8 Work Tape probably recorded between 1968 / 1969. This chaotic section of the home tapes has been much recorded over; for documentary reasons we have edited nothing out.
F9 - F11 Engineered by John Wood at Sound Techniques, Chelsea, London. February 1974 or July 1974.
A6 A version of "Woman Your'e So Sweet" by Blind Boy Fuller.
All tracks have been transferred from original copies of Nicholas Rodney Drake's home tapes and expertly equalised and mastered using noise reduction and speed correction. Claims that other recordings have been sourced from master tapes should be regarded with skepticism.
Condition: 3 12" LPs are NEAR MINT in paper inner sleeves in a widemouth picture sleeve in VERY GOOD condition in a plastic protector
A Note About Shipping To The U.S.We are located in Canada, but have registered ourselves on eBay.com instead of eBay.ca because it gives us significantly better global exposure. The problem with this is that eBay wants us to charge shipping appropriate to US, where media mail and other options make for fairly reasonable delivery costs. We tried it for a while but ended up losing money on shipping or having to cancel the orders because we couldn't afford to ship for those rates. To manage this we have set the US shipping to run a calculator based on an American location (we chose Plattsburgh as fairly close) and charging according to UPS pricing. This avoids the cancellation issue, but appears to the buyer to be a prohibitive shipping cost and misrepresents the shipping as being only expedited. If you give us your postal code we will see if we can offer a more reasonable option, but generally we can get a single LP by air to most places in the continental US for $11, a few bucks less for ground.
