Description
This is an UNPLAYED original mono pressing copy of Nico's 1967 album Chelsea Girl, and so close to mint you can taste it.
I acquired this LP in a box of assorted records, it was factory sealed when I received it! Curiously, it was sealed without it's cover. As you can see it came sealed in a generic chipboard jacket. Because of the unusual packaging, I felt the need to check the matrix to verify that it is indeed the original mono pressing. Sure enough, first press mono! (matrix a: V5032 MG1066 Rev matrix b: V5032 MG1067 Rev)
So, the factory seal on this 51 year old record was broken YESTERDAY. Listed as NM/M- because I spotted a faint mark as I was checking the matrix. It is gorgeous, shiny, and virtually mint!
You're not likely to find this record in this condition any time soon, if you ever do. And without it's cover you should be able to grab it for a great price. This will be an insane score for the winning bidder!
