Offered here is a RARE original 33 Record LP of Nico – Chelsea Girl, released in 1967 on Verve Records (Catalog V6-5032). This is one of the most important and influential folk–chamber-pop albums of the 1960s, featuring collaborations with Jackson Browne, Lou Reed, John Cale, and Bob Dylan (whose song “I’ll Keep It With Mine” appears here). Produced by Tom Wilson, one of the most significant figures of the era (Velvet Underground, Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel), this album is a cornerstone recording for serious collectors and students of the art.

Condition:
Vinyl: VG+ (excellent playing condition) — retains strong gloss with only light surface marks. Plays through cleanly with no major distractions. A remarkably solid player copy for this title. there are some slight surface scratches and scuffs on side two but they do not seem to affect the playing…for my ear at least.
Cover: VG overall — front and back present well, but the spine is worn with partial splitting. Edges and corners show typical aging.
Inner Sleeve: Original Verve sleeve included.
This remains one of the essential albums of the Velvet Underground orbit, a landmark in folk minimalism and avant-pop songwriting, with major contributions from some of the era’s most important creators.
