VERVE Records V6-5032 VG/VG+ STEREO 1968. US original album. German born, Christa Paffgen aka Nico, was a model who moved to New York at an early age. There, she met Andy Warhol and joined the Velvet Underground. She recorded one historic album with them, and quit to pursue a "solo" recording career. This is her debut solo album!!! Cover is solid, has slight peeling on front cover. The vinyl is very shiny and clean, couple of thin, hairline scuffs. Clean labels with only a few spindle marks.

I specialize in selling PROMOTIONAL albums in rock n' roll and jazz from the 1960's and 1970's. PROMO albums are usually pressed from the original master tapes in an extremely limited quantity, and are 1ST pressings!!! Many are issued with white labels, others have radio timing strips on the cover, just a promo sticker or gold cover stamps. Given out selectively to radio stations before the stock release, they generally have superior sound quality, are RARE, collectable, and getting VERY SCARCE!!!
PLEASE NOTE: I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine, if necessary. I pack ALL records carefully. Records are placed outside of the record cover in a clear plastic record sleeve. Albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box.
