Description

An original 1st press of Broken on the custom Island labels from 1992. 12inch side 1 [A1]. 7 inch [A/B1]. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the bespoke lyric inner. The 7 inch comes housed in its original white paper inner. We also have the original Nothing/Island promo leaflet. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex) [12/7] In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection side 1 looks pretty clean with a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. Side 2 - which is the SILENT side with NO AUDIO...exhibits a few light trails - but I'm mentioning this for cosmetic purposes as, after all, it is SILENT! [12 inch] A thorough testing of Side 1 [I'm not mad enough to grade side 2!] reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback without fault. It plays clean, heavy, and with excellent depth and detail. I have the CD and the vinyl absolutely slam dunks it! Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. The 7 inch plays mostly EXCELLENT, but with a couple of deviations. Side B exhibits a couple of clicks in a couple of isolated spots. Side A exhibits just two lighter ticks in one isolated spot. Otherwise both sides play excellent.
Cover (Ex+) In beautiful condition and doesn't look far off new. Lovely shiny front and back. Both sides lie flat and are uncreased. Edge wear is pretty much non-existent and the openings still sharp. The only vague thing I can make out is a minuscule knock at the opening [but I'm being extremley picky! The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A beaut!!
Inner (Ex+) Pretty much as new. No splits, creases, or issues at all.
Leaflet (Ex+) Mint condition.
