Description

You are bidding on a RARE Original 12" Blue Vinyl Copy of BLEACH by NIRVANA.
1st Edition. *Waterfront Records-DAMP 114
I purchased this record in 1989 at Eide's Records in Pittsburgh, PA in 1989 and I have been the only owner.
I have kept this copy of BLEACH as a collector and it was never played and has been in storage since 1989. I had a copy of Bleach on cassette and I listened to that on my Walkman and in my car.
This record is in excellent condition and I would definitely classify it as Mint. The sleeve in in very good condition with one corner that got bumped and one crease at the bottom. (see photos) There is also a plastic sleeve that it has been stored in as well.
I saw that this record has sold for up to $700.00 on Popsike so this is an amazing investment!

  • This Waterfront LP was initially pressed on either blue or yellow vinyl.
  • Single picture cover b/w cover, no insert.
  • Blue vinyl in a black/silver sleeve
  • Recorded in Seattle at Reciprocal Recording Studios.

In June 1985, the Waterfront Record shop opened its doors at 119 York Street to provide a retail outlet for the label. In June 1988 the store relocated to larger premises at 770 George Street.
The label was home to local acts Hard-Ons, Ratcat and Tumbleweed and licensed international acts Nirvana, Pavement and the Beastie Boys until its demise in late 1994.
