Description
NIRVANA
BLEACH
(Waterfront DAMP114) (RELEASED 1989)
Extremely Rare Australian Yellow Vinyl Issue, of which 300 were issued by Sydney’s Waterfront Records in 1989.
Waterfront pressed numerous coloured vinyl in different colours (blue/red/green/red/yellow/black/green), of which the Purple, Yellow and Black copies are considered the rarest.
It is very hard to find a 'perfect' copy of this album as the covers were of a cheap manufacture and are/were prone to scratches/dinks/bent corners/split spines and ring wear.
Any of the Waterfront releases of this album are becoming extremely scarce now. And has now been heavily counterfeited due to its scarcity.
Cover = EX- (Cover is unlaminated, slight ringwear on reverse, slight creasing on edge near spine. Slight bend in top right corner. No splitting on spine. Almost Perfect)
Record = M- (Spun maybe a couple of times...almost perfect!)
Waterfront labels in Mint condition.
Matrix labels – DMX71211 @2B /DMX71212 @2C (hand written). Pressed by Festival Records, Sydney (as they were the only company pressing coloured vinyl is this country...their matrices are denoted by the prefix "DMX".
Not a bootleg or pirate copy – this is the legitimate Waterfront pressing from 1989!
It could very well be one of the few copies of this colour left in almost pristine condition, as they very rarely turn up, and are generally in less than optimal condition.
