Description
NIRVANA - LOCAL ANAESTHETIC VINYL LP
INCREDIBLY RARE VERTIGO SWIRL PROG ROCK, PSYCHEDELLIC VINYL LP FROM 1971!
The fourth album to be issued under the Nirvana name and the first post-Island outing, this heavily jazz-influenced release was essentially the work of a solo Patrick Campbell-Lyons.
* Labels are in EX+ condition with barely any spindle wear
* Vinyl is visually graded against a strong light, and despite some light marks, this vinyl would be in EX- condition, as it still has a wonderful sheen and looks great. Would expect it to play loud and clear music, top quality!
* Gatefold Cover is also in VG condition, with some scuffing and writing on the front cover. Spine has scuffing as well but no serious problems, no rips or tears and edges ares still strong.

** To better understand my grading, I use the Record Collector's Grading system which is as below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. If records are opened, but otherwise mint, I will rate them as EX, but only in this instance.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. Passable as VG with only a couple of instances of distortion, but otherwise would not be acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. Plays with distortion but without jumps or skips - music can be enjoyed but with background noise.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. I would not sell a Fair record.

Due to the high interest in this item, I have listened to the vinyl all the way through to give an accurate audio grading.
I can confirm that the vinyl plays in EX condition, with the sharp, crisp audio coming through loud and clear, without background noise or distortion.
This is a TOP quality vinyl as I first thought, sounding superb and is a pleasure to listen to!
