Description
Nirvana "Sliver / Dive" Sub Pop LP, original pressing on blue vinyl, original owner, NM+ condition. Blue vinyl with slight marbling. Not as crazy rare as the clear vinyl version but lovely.
As close to mint/original/perfect as you'll ever find.
The story: back in the late '80's I bought everything Sub Pop put out, sound unheard. I subscribed to their Singles Club (who could resist a come on line like "Hey loser. Wanna find some action?") and bought every 7" single they put out.
Each one I'd treat with Last Record Preservative (highly recommended) and play once as I made a copy to cassette tape (still have them all.) Never played the vinyl again. I still have the cassette (and rock my Walkman.)
Always kept in a non-smoking environment in a proper rigid 7" record case, vinyl and poster stored outside of sleeve (no ring wear) in an acid-free archival plastic sleeve. Vinyl and sleeve are in as near mint condition as it gets. This is exactly what would have arrived in the mail if you'd ordered it back in 1990.
Includes a perfect Sub Pop Singles Club coupon for mid-1990 listing Billy Childish, Henry Rollins, Sister Ray, Unsane, Poster Children and Poison Idea (Portland punk rock's finest.) Also a ripped out piece of the mailer it was sent in stating "PHONOGRAPH RECORDS. Handle with love." Both pictured.
Will be sent USPS First Class Signature in a new cardboard 12" record mailer with proper padding and full insurance.
I'm downsizing my home and life so it's time to move this and other rarities to a new owner. I'm sure you'll love this and be 110% satisfied. Just promise that you'll love it and squeeze it and call it George.
