Description
Nirvana – Hormoaning – Official Australian Tour Edition (EP) - Red & Blue 12” Swirl Vinyl
+ Rare Black Pressing and Official Photograph from the Album Shoot!
You are bidding on all three of the following items in this auction:
1) Nirvana - Hormoaning - Official Australian Tour Edition (EP) - Red & Blue 12" Swirl Vinyl.
Both the Vinyl & Sleeve are in better than Excellent condition.
The Matrix Codes etched in to the DeadWax of the Record are:
Side a:
DMX 79745 ®2B
Side b:
DMX 79 746 ®2A
This official release was a limited pressing of only 4,000 ever made on the Geffen / MCA label, and distributed by BMG Arista/Ariola.
They were initially sold at the Waterfront Records Stall at "The Big Day Out" Music Festival held in Sydney in 1992, where Nirvana performed. Afterwards, most of the remaining copies were sent to Au Go Go Records in Melbourne for subsequent resale.

2) Nirvana - Hormoaning - Australian Tour Edition (EP) - Black 12" Vinyl.
Both the Vinyl & Sleeve are in better than Excellent condition.
It is unconfirmed if this black vinyl pressing is an official in house press or test pressing or a very clever counterfeit.
Unlike the many later colour represses, this vinyl comes with the correct cover art on the sleeve (the shower head is evident etc.) and the overall quality of the sleeve (cut & appearance) is excellent. In short, the sleeve looks authentic.
This vinyl is pressed on 45rpm speed as opposed to the 33 1/3 speed of the swirled release, hence the possibility of this being an "in house" pressing perhaps for sound quality testing.
The only other difference is that the matrix is machine stamped as opposed to handwritten:
Side a:
DMX 79745 X
Side b:
DMX 79 746 X
(On side b the X is pressed in the dead wax on the direct opposite side of the label)
Please note that although I have been communicating with the Pennyroyal 3 and Sliver it websites regarding this record, I have been unable (at this time) to confirm this particular vinyl as authentic so I am selling it as stated above, and to the best of my knowledge.

3) Official DGC Photograph from the Original Hormoaning Album Photo Shoot!
Similarly to the two vinyls which make up this auction, this "Press Release" photograph is also in better than excellent condition.
I am listing this auction with no reserve (as there is no such option on Australian eBay) and am starting it at $1.00 to keep it fair for all!
Shipping will be AUD$20.00 for Australian buyers and AUD$35.00 flat rate shipping anywhere else Worldwide. This shipping charge will include registered mail and postal insurance for the full final sale price.
For international buyers my only accepted payment method is PayPal.
All records I sell are well packed in cardboard and then sent in proper cardboard vinyl mailers. The records will be removed from the sleeves to avoid any damage to the spines etc. in transit.
I encourage you to ask any questions as all sales in regard to this auction are final.
Please do not bid on this auction if you do not intend to complete the purchase!
Payment is due within 5 business days unless prior agreements are made.
I ship out items only once a week, on Saturdays.
Thank you for looking and Good Luck from Dead-Wax-Records!!!
