Description

Up for auction is a highly sought-after, authentic 1979 original first pressing of Nohelani Cypriano's legendary self-titled album on HanaOla Records. This is a holy grail of "Hawaiian Rare Groove," featuring the massive island-funk/disco track "Lihue", which is heavily spun by international DJs. Condition Grading (Strict Visual Grading):

  • Vinyl Condition: VG+ (Very Good Plus)
    • The vinyl surface is beautiful and retains its brilliant original factory gloss.
    • No deep or feelable scratches. Shows only exceptionally light, faint paper scuffs under direct light that do not impact playability.
  • Labels: NM (Near Mint)
    • Clean blue labels with crisp text.
    • No writing, stickers, or spindle wear around the center hole.
  • Jacket/Sleeve Condition: VG (Very Good)
    • The jacket is solid and structurally sound with no major seam splits.
    • Shows typical light vintage ring wear on the back cover and minor shelf wear/scuffing along the corners and edges from decades of careful storage. Text and graphics are completely legible.
Shipping & Handling:
The record will be packed professionally to ensure safe transit. The vinyl disc will be removed from the jacket during transit to completely prevent spine splits. Shipped securely in a dedicated cardboard record mailer with bubble wrap insert pads. Please review the high-resolution photos carefully to confirm the condition before bidding. Don't miss your chance to add this rare piece of Hawaiian musical history to your collection!
