*** 1940s or 50s North African 78 rpm ***
French 78 rpm press on Philips.
Fine sides by an to us unknown female singer. "Egypt" is written in pencil on one side. Our best guess is that this is Shadia (Arabic: ??????, Sh?diyya), from the records introduction. From the collection of a long deceased Dutch missionary who took these back home.

NOTE: all recordings were made with a digital USB connection Stanton player, and recorded in lo-fi audio quality. Especially with the 78 rpm recordings the sound will be worse than when played on a proper set-up.
The crackle or hiss sound worse then when we play these on our old Lenco L70.
