Description
Betty Lavette, Only Your Love Can Save Me b/w I Feel Good (All Over), on Calla 104. Original promo copy is in gorgeous M- shape, plays perfectly. For my money, one of the best two-siders, one song written by Ashford, Simpson, and Armstead, the other by Bob Hamilton and Don Mancha, with additional credits to Bert Keyes and Don Gardner. An awesome pedigree, and two equally awesome performances by one of soul's best vocalists. Label on I Feel Good has the title circled in marker and a promotion man's stamp, which includes a little caricature of him holding (I think) a record player--cool. A great copy of a great record.
