Original NORTHERN SOUL 45 - RARE!

METROS – since i found my baby / no baby – RCA

one of the biggest floor fillers ever since, constantly sought after for years and years. this is a true northern soul classic. the US-demo fetches $200+, the US issue even more. This is the original red labeled canadian issue from 1967, that doen't turn up too often. i've seen much more US issues around during the last years. a really scarce format.

condition: the record has a warp / bend, that looks quite bad but doesn't effect play (i'm using a technics turntable with ortofon system). i recorded a soundfile from the actual copy for sale, so you can get an impression what it sounds like. the vinyl surface shows some wear and light scratches, a solid VG++, it plays clean and strong without pops and crackle, there are no audible scratches. when i bought it, it was advertised as M-. i added a picture below showing what the warp/ bend looks like. label looks nice, but there's a small drillhole.

m: a perfect, probably unplayed record (i don’t use this grade)
m-: close to like new with only very few & light signs of use that don´t affect play.
vg++: has light marks & scratches, might play with a VERY little noise
vg+: has multiple marks & scratches, used but not abused 45
vg: looks bad but plays still OK
