Welcome to the 45 Vault! I am a longtime Detroit-area record collector and radio DJ, but have never sold on eBay, until now.  I will be offering you some prime items from my personal collection, mainly in the Soul and Funk categories, so please check my auctions each week.  I never sell reissues or bootlegs, and all discs are guaranteed to be original pressings. 

GRADING:

I use the Goldmine scale:  M, M-, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G.  Very few discs will ever earn the grade of mint, and I will seldom offer a disc in G condition.  I grade each disc visually as well as audibly, and provide audio clips for your convenience.   

Sound clips are taken from the actual disc on offer, and are recorded on a Technics direct-drive turntable with a Shure M-95ED cartridge running into a Sony standalone CD burner, with no filtering or enhancement whatsoever.  The discs have been recorded in stereo, and it goes without saying that they will sound even better on a mono system.

SHIPPING:

I ship in new, commercial grade, 200 pound edge-crush-test cardboard 45 rpm shipping boxes, with cardboard spacers on each side of the disc for additional protection. 

Shipping rates to the U.S. are $3.50 for one 45 via USPS First-Class Mail, and $2 for each additional disc.

Overseas shipping via USPS First-Class International Mail is $6 for one 45 and $2 for each additional disc.

Items sold for over $100 require insurance (79 cents per $100 inside the U.S., and $1 per $100 abroad).

Packages will be mailed within 48 hours of receipt of payment.  When your order is shipped, I will email you at the address you provide PayPal to let you know your package is on its way.
