Comments: A-side is a female variation of Ray Charles take on this standard. The biggest reason for buying this record is the B-side which has a highly rated (Manship) swaying mid-tempo Northern Soul track, thanks to Gene Pages’ first class arrangement. Very mid 60’s except the baritone sax-solo (Steve Douglas??) which has a distinct girl-group flavor from a few years earlier.
