Northern Soul The Charades "Weeping Cup" / "The Key To My Happiness" 1966 45 RPM 7" Rare DJ Copy MGM K13540

These disk was one my grandmother played for me when I was a little kid, and apparently this disk is rather rare.

It has light scratches and scuffs. There are also a couple of larger scratches and scuffs.

See the photos for details (I cranked the image gammas way up to pick out details)

I was able to minimally play test it (turntable w/ inadequate preamp piped into PC soundcard) - it does not skip, but I can't comment on hiss, crackle, etc due to insufficient preamplification (soundcard gain at max).

I got some hardware set up and was able to properly play the record. It IS in very good shape - there are a couple of pops and crackles at the beginning of "The Key To My Happiness" but otherwise it sounds good.

I captured the output of the playtests with Audacity to mp3 files you can download and review.
3 secs of white noise in 2 spots (at about 45secs and 85secs) was added to each to try to stay legal :-)
