Up for bids is the single from Virgil Murray's Tomorrow's Yesterday on KOOL KAT 1004, "I Still Care/ Summer Dreamin'."
This is a promo single recorded by Virgil Murray's Tomorrow's Yesterday on the Kool Kat label in 1968. From what info I have been able to find, the single was known through the Wigan Casino era. The single was released on Airtown records (Indiana indie) and on Kool Kat (Detroit indie) in the same year; in fact, the Kool Kat release seems to be harder to find than the Airtown version, and both versions were pressed in very few copies. In fact, this was the only single released by Virgil Murray and has a bit of cult status/desirability as an uptempo stomper for the A-side.
The playing condition of the single being offered in this auction is NEAR MINT Minus - the sound is extremely clean, and the 'Minus' overall comes from micro-scuffs from storage that can be seen under very bright light (a little better than VG++ on other rating systems.)
The UNRETOUCHED combined audio samples of this single were recorded from a Stanton T-90 USB Direct Drive turntable, using Audacity software. This is an uncirculated promo that does not show signs of previously being played. Go to the eCommerce player shown above to listen.
