Description
A few notable titles with condition issues that nevertheless play through fine, others in great shape. Putting a lot together because I discovered that up to two pounds (the weight, not the currency) can be mailed from the U.S. to, say, the UK for something around 24 dollars (hope I read that right). In recognition of the upcoming Anglo-American Hands Across The Water Celebration, I'm going lower still and making the shipping just 16 dollars (and I do apologize for the pesky strength of the dollar which, for the record, was not my doing). Back to the records - you can hear the entire song of each record in the first pic, and clips from those in the other pictures. I had fun putting this together, and am now missing these records...and they're not even gone yet!
Esther Phillips, "Just Say Goodbye", Atlantic 45-2324, promo. Visually, It's G+, no better. As with all here that I grade in the G range, there's scratches andscuffs superficial and deep; I've put up individual photos of a few but I don't think they capture it. Like all others here, the record lies flat, no warps (no cracks, either, of course). The fact that it's pictured in a sleeve means that I put it in a sleeve. Happily, plays much better than it looks; some tics can be heard here and there, but I think it plays well enough (well enough for a club, I don't know). Certainly enjoyable and a terrific song - hear it in full.
