Description
Vinyl records pressed in Lebanon are extremely rare and very hard to find items in any condition, produced for a few years in the late 1960's until forced to stop by the onset of civil war in 1975. All the international artists and bands were popular in Lebanon, and only a few copies survived the last thirty years in very good condition, including limited editions of multi-colored 7" singles and unique white label samples for radio and club DJs.

On offer is this awesome Lebanese produced single by this extremely obscure band from Tripoli in the north of Lebanon. The band was part of the local rock scene among other groups in the late 1960's such as the News, The Cedards or Sea-ders, The Kool Kats, The Dark Eyes, Simon C. Edwards and and a few others. To my knowedge, this is Northern Wind's only record release. The 2 tracks are simply awesome, trippy fast grooves with acid fuzz drenched guitars and other psychedelic type effects creating a highly original vibe.
The record plays well and sounds very nice throughout in spite of visible marks from age and use, it actually sounds much better than it looks, fortunately no undesirable or disturbing effects at all.
So if you're a serious fan of 60's psychedelic/freakbeat/garage/sunshine groups or a collector of rare records Middle Eastern rock bands make sure you don't miss the chance to win this massively rare and nearly impossible to locate single. An absolute collector's item !!!
The disk will be packed in a high quality poly-lined white sleeve and a polythene cover.
