Kirk Douglas (1916-2020) was an iconic American actor, producer, director, and author known for his robust and intense acting style. Over his long and illustrious career, he starred in numerous classic films, becoming one of Hollywood's most enduring stars. Some of his most notable films include "Spartacus" (1960), "Paths of Glory" (1957), and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" (1954).

Kirk Douglas is related to the Vikings through his role in the film "The Vikings" (1958). In this historical epic, directed by Richard Fleischer, Douglas plays Einar, a Viking prince. The movie, set during the Viking Age, depicts the adventures and rivalries of Viking warriors, including their invasions of England. Douglas's portrayal of Einar is one of the memorable performances in his career, contributing to the film's success and its status as a classic adventure epic.

We acquired this disc in a large lot of transcription discs from the estate of a former radio enthusiast and dealer, and will be listing many others over time. Many of these discs rarely - if ever - come up for auction.

This record has not been play tested, but we are more than happy to guarantee your purchase in the event it does not live up to your expectations.
