Description
Hi everyone,
To start, if you want your records to look and sound perfect, this is probably not a copy that would work for you :)
The records are by no mean trashed, but the have some scuffs and small and long scratches that are both visible and audible. So the records sound very nice, but with some surface noise on some places, mostly the quiet and transitional areas. Numerous “Tics and tocs” also can be heard where some of the scratches are. I do not have any skips or repeats on my player (and I do not own a super expensive or fancy player).
Sleeve also shows some signs of wear, and a few stains as you can see on the pictures. Spine is solid and there are small (about 1 inch) splits on the upper right corners of both records sides. Inner sleeves are in good shape; one of them has a tear. Poster and portrait pictures are included and all in great shape.
The cool parts are that this has a relatively low production number at 146614. Also, labels are loaded with 7 errors and misspells, that were later on rectified on oncoming pressings, and they’re the following:
Side 1 Label:
1- “Bungalow Bill” instead of “The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill”
2- “Obladi Oblada” instead of “Ob-la-di-ob-la-da
Side 2 Label:
1- “Rocky Racoon” missing an C in raccoon
2- Missing question mark (?) in “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road
Side 4 Label:
1- “Revolution No. 1” instead of “Revolution 1”
2- “Revolution No. 9” instead of “Revolution 9”
3- “Goodnight” instead of “Good Night”
Dead wax markings:
Side 1: SWBO 1-101-B 37 2 *
Side 2: 2 SWBO 1-101-B 37 2 *
Side 3: 2 SWBO 3-101-A 36 2 *
Side 4: 2 SWBO 4-101-A 36 1 *
Considering the flaws, starting auction at $1. Offered in as is condition.
