Ah! Nutz. I could go on for hours about the unfairness of the music world that Nutz were not massive but there are many such sob stories. So Nutz were a British rock band who I first discovered through Nutz Too in a bargain bin. The chance to go and see them came up and I was hooked. They ended up on a sort of 4 week rotation at the Music Machine with Motorhead, Iron Maiden and the Heavy Metal Kids. They were my favourite of the 4 and I saw them several times - each time brilliant. Nutz and Nutz too are here along with IMHO their best album Hard Nutz. This in my view is not just their best album but one of the great 70's rock albums. Fantastic. Their live album Live Cutz is also here. The cruel world that meant they were attached to a movement that had gone meant that they changed their name to Rage and had another go alongside the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Sadly with a similar lack of success. Out of Control and Nic n Dirty are good albums but not as good as the Nutz albums in my view. Nonetheless they were good enough to have broken the band but it just never happened for them.
