Description
Up for auction here is issue 4 of O.Rextasy, from October of 1974. This is the obsessive record nerd beginnings of punk rock--The O Rex folks would go on to O Rex, the Gizmos, the Afrika Korps/Korps, and all sorts of other good stuff. This issue is 96 pages long(!) and features a 26 page Cub Coda interview, stuff about Marc Bolan, Gary Glitter, T Rex, the Raiders, Fanny, Tanya Tucker, Blue Oyster Cult, an illustrated sci fi story in the vein of ERB (even titled "The Warrior Queen of Mars"), O Rex, Suzi Quatro, Mott the Hoople, School Punks, David Bowie, Sly and the Family Stone, Edgar Winter, the Who, Bonnie Raitt and much, much, much more. Zine is as shown--shitty mimeography, but otherwise great.
