When this auction closes, it is not necessary for you to contact us as we will contact you. All the delivery options and costs are detailed and listed below. When the auction closes, simply select your delivery option and payment method then submit your payment. The payment amount is the sum of your winning bid plus the delivery costs.

Payment options

We accept payment by Paypal or cash on collection for large items only. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHEQUES OR POSTAL ORDERS. For your protection, please do not SEND cash. Payment by Paypal should be made to ebayenquiries@shawtrust.org.uk. Just follow the checkout procedure when the auction has completed.

All payments must be cleared before items are sent.

Delivery

Please see the item description for delivery costs. We send all our items out within three working of receiving cleared payment. The method of delivery will depend on the size and type of the item ordered. Alternatively large items (furniture or electrical goods) can be collected from our premises between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Returns

If you have any problems with the item purchased please contact us immediately by email to ebay@shaw-trust.org.uk, so that we can resolve it as soon as possible. We offer a 7 days return policy with the items needing to be returned to us in the same condition as originally sent. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

Terms and Conditions

All our sales are subject to the following terms and conditions and do not affect your statutory rights. All our used items are fully tested by our own expert engineers before leaving our premises and will to the specification advertised in the listing description. It is your responsibility as a customer to check that the item purchased is fully compatible for its intended use.  We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason whatsoever. No order will be considered binding unless and until it is accepted by us.

Our payment terms are; PayPal and Cash on collection only. Items will not be sent or cannot be collected until payment is cleared in full. Please check your item for any damages on arrival and contact us within 48 hours of the delivery if using our courier service. Provided that this notice is given we will arrange to collect, replace, and repair or refund the goods free of charge.

Distance selling Regulations

Under the consumer protection (distance selling) regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel the contract (sale) within 7 days- starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a “Cooling off” Period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty.
