The proof in terms of how stacked with stone cold bangers this album is comes in knowing that Oasis performed eight of its 12 songs live at Heaton Park as part of their 2025 reunion shows. To see the songs connecting with new generations all these years later and instill the level of excitement that they do puts this album up there with the greatest rock n' roll albums of all time. Sure, some areas of Britpop had more drama and glamour - think Suede, Manics - but despite all the deductive meat and potatoes allegations about their particular style of blues pentatonic-rooted rock they write in a way that connects with the heart and as a band of the people they are indestructible. This reissue includes the remastered original album, plus a nice bonus in the shape of unplugged recordings from the original master.
