Description
Artist: Obrey Wilson
Tracks: If You Weren’t There // My Ancestors
Condition: VG+ with light wear from storage. None of the marks can be felt and few of them can be heard so this 45 should suit most DJs and collectors. Just a few marks short of VG++ but still a copy that’s probably been played less than a dozen times. WOL too.
Additional Notes: Strong 1960s northern soul rarity from Obrey Wilson on Columbia records. Great major label production makes for a clean sound, a great record for fellow northern DJs. Nice tune that borders between blue-eyed soul and an Impressions style sound, quality tune.
We use a NM/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G grade scale:
NM= perfect like new record. VG++= Very nice record with minimal wear. Maybe a couple of very small scuffs or marks that do not affect play.VG+=Nicely cared for record but will show some light scratches and some play use. Will not have any significant surface noise, but will have some occasional noise here and there.
VG=A well played record but will still be enjoyable as a "player" copy. Light scratches only NO DEEP GOUGES. Will play with surface noise but nothing that will hinder the music and will mostly be noticed in between tracks. VG-=Will have surface noise, clicks, pops and generally be noisy. Should still be enjoyable. WILL NOT SKIP.
Anything below VG- is pretty rough. We rarely sell items below VG-.
