OBSCURE DUTCH SURINAM black movie

 

Very rare press release for WAN PIPEL (surinamese for ONE PEOPLE). It includes the original press info sheets for the film and for the music and dialogues on the record. The film was about the afro and Indian community in south american Surinam and about the struggle to free itself from Holland. Director Pim de la Parra is notorious for his ultra low budget films that nevertheless offer great entertainment. One People is not the first Dutch Black film, but probably the best. Pim de la Parra was also involved in the making of BLUE MOVIE, one of the best Dutch sex films and THE ULTIMATE HALLUCINATION with Eddie Constantine. Nice item for serious soundtrack collectors.
