Description
Rare So Cal Orange County punk classic from 1979, "Death To Disco” backed with “I Hate Myself," Two wonderfully snotty songs from local fellas who really didn’t have that much to complain about. Guitarist/singer Dave Guccione worked at the county’s big record wholesaler, Brown Records, which is also where a member of another of this week’s rare OC offerings, Big Beat, worked.
The 45—No. 303 on the Chateau East label--comes with its kinda ratty but double-rare picture sleeve, which is simply a folded over piece of paper. The record has a couple of small pops, but no skips of scratches. The label still has a sticker from Anaheim’s Beggar’s Banquet Records, which was one of very few OC stores to even stock punk early on.
