OCTOBER COUNTRY "OCTOBER COUNTRY" EPIC BN 26381 1968 WHITE LABEL PROMO RARE
Formed in Los Angeles California by the East Coast Brother & sister, Caryle & Joe De Franca this six piece band recorded their sole album for the major Epic label in 1968, produced by Michael Lloyd. Three singles were taken from the album; including the title of the Band, '"I just Don't Know/ My Girlfriend is a Witch", "Cowboys & Indians/"I Wish I was a Fire'', none of which charted. Their sound was similar to the We Five and althougfh popular as a local club band, they never extended their range an soon folded. Eleven songs which no writing credits are given, although most likely they were composed by the talented Lloyd. Not many copies out there and this is a Primo WL Promo! For Lovers of Great Pop/Harmony/Folk music....
