OHO - Okinawa, originally recorded 1974 in the US and first released '74 as a private pressed single LP. Here are the original & complete recordings as first issue from 1994 on Little Wing 3044/45/46/47. A true piece of genius when talking about US progressive music. From Baltimore/Maryland. Unbelievable songwriting and musicianship. This great piece comes as a stunning package: 4 10" EPs in round metal box with thick booklet and sticker. Very limited edition of 800 copies, here's number 186. My highest recommendation. Booklet and sticker mint.
In 1982 a couple from south east germany formed "Refugees" which became the most impressive and innovative mailorder label until their end ca. 2000. True pioneers concerning progressive/psychedelic music and many of us collectors made our first experiences with nowadays classical albums when reading in their tastefully made small but thick Refugees katalogues made with passion and heartblood. In 1988 Rene & Gerlinde formed their own label "Little Wing Of Refugees" and started to make Reissues of until today in unbeatable top quality. They had the huge ambition to present selected records from the 70ies not only as exact repros but instead in new and representing "clothes" according to the outstanding high musical quality...AND THEY DID: Each of the Little Wing issues (around 40 releases) is a true work of art. To my opinion this label is absolutely worth to be collected completely. Strictly limited pressings only and mostly totally vanished.
THIS GREAT BOX IS PRETTY HEAVY AND CONCERNING POSTAGE IT HAS TO COUNT AS 4 LPs
Condition record: mint(-), unplayed but not untouched
Condition sleeve: vg+, all these metal boxes became a bit rusty in the meantime but should be mostly cleanable. Small defect on centre of bottom.
