Rare 1st MONO pressing of this Jazz classic.

OLIVER NELSON - Blues and the Abstract Truth
Impulse A-5 mono - 1961 US pressing.
(with Bill Evans / Roy Haynes / Eric Dolphy / Paul Chambers / Freddie Hubbard)

Vinyl is in VG+ condition (on a NM/EX/VG+/VG/G/F scale).
Has lots of hairlines but no deep scratches. I played the entire record through and it sounded great.
A little background noise in the quieter passages. Even with headphones it's very enjoyable.

Sleeve is VG. Has a little airbubbles under the lamination. 2" top and seam splits and overall wear.
Smells  a bit mouldy also.

So, all in all still a very enjoyable, and rare, album to add to your jazz collection.
