OLLI AHVENLAHTI Bandstand (Love LRLP 126) LP --Original first (and only) 1975 pressing of this classic Finnish jazz album released on the famous Love Records.

The vinyl is NM, cover is NM ---looks unplayed!

This is Olli's debut as a leader and, although not as famous as his LP The Poet which included the dancefloor jazz hit Grandma's Rocking Chair, this is every bit as good.

The songs are Breeze, Countenance (reissued on Jazzpuu, hear snippet @ http://www.sahkorecordings.com/jazzpuu-6.php), The Daughter, Cadenza For Christina, Sandy, Havana Two.

The musicians are Olli Ahvenlahti (piano, el. piano, clavinet, synthesizer), Bertil Lofgren (trumpet, fluegelhorn), Pekka Poyry (sopr. sax, alto sax, flute), Bernt Rosengren (ten. sax on Havana Two), Pekka Sarmanto (bass), Esko Rosnell (drums, perc.).
