Description

One of the rarest UK major label issues, this seems to have been pressed in 1978 by the President label as some kind of tax loss scam, with no distribution and entirely fictitious notes on the back sleeve about a non-existent band.  In fact the album was assembled from various projects that had been overseen by a couple of IBC Studios engineers during the late 1960s and early 1970s, and includes three tracks (‘Fall Out’, ‘Reason Why’ and ‘Lay Me Down’) from the legendary unreleased 1969-70 album by the mighty Five Day Rain.

 

The album has been reissued on both CD and vinyl in recent years, but this is an ultra-scarce original 1978 vinyl pressing.  The disc is unplayed, the sleeve has a tear down the left-hand side of the front cover (see scan) and a small (just under two inches) split across the top.
