Opus Avantra - s/t (aka Introspezione or Donella Del Monaco) Pressing: Trident / Marquee (Japan). Exact gatefold reissue (see below for details)
Condition: Cover is a near perfect M- and record is a near perfect M-. The obi is not a strip but a full backplate that wraps around to the right side.
Fantastic avant progressive rock similar to the second Pierrot Lunaire album "Gudrun". In the 1980's, some Japanese dealers found some original Trident LPs (machine stamped, etc...) and had them repressed for the Japanese market in the exact manner. The cover is a reprint of the original (you can see a very slight faded ringwear on the back). A perfect reissue and these are near impossible to find nowadays.
This week's auction features reissues from Japan, Italy, Korea and even one from Canada. All are beautiful LP reproductions, that are just like the original LP. These records are long OOP and have become very collectable in their own right. All LPs in this progressive & psych auction are used but in almost all cases were purchased new and played once or twice. Many are in perfect shape.
LPs are well packed and should arrive in the same condition they left. Any problems with the condition of the LP and we'll work it out I assure you. Postage chart:
USA: $5.50 for the first LP (Priority) + $1 each additional.
Canada: $6 for the first LP + $1 each additional.
The rest of the World: $12 the first LP (airmail). $3 for each additional.
