This is the UK PSYCHEDELIC band 'The JASON CREST' under a pseudonym - and it only saw release in the USA, perhaps due to contractual problems or commitments. It was a great leap into a more progressive approach for the group, and you can certainly hear how adept and together they had become - the music is SUBLIME in its' excellence!!
If you are looking for great early prog rock rooted in 60's Psych - then THIS is absolutely up your street!
Inventive, imaginative playing and arranging, nothing stunted by sounding all too similar (many rock albums suffered from that problem in my opinion). The vocalist is no Paul Rogers or Robert Plant, if I had to pick a fault - but then, who could live up to those kinds of enigmatic comparisons? It is of course Terry Clarke, as with Jason Crest, and his vocal style is perhaps more plaintive, but neither as soulful or with great range as those singers. Oh well - what he may lack, he made up for with passionate delivery, and there-in lies his power!
The instrumental prowess here defies adequate description really, and I am not just saying this to 'promote' this auction - the band is awesome, totally brilliant throughout.
Snag a rare GEM that is actually WORTH its' reputation!

The VINYL is EX condition, SUPERB full shine, with basically 1 mark on side 2 that doesn't effect playing.
The Bell silver lables are nice and clean, with very little sign of wear.
The card sleeve with cartoon artwork is solid VG++, a little light sign of ring and edge wear, some slight shading where a price or promo sticker was removed. The PROMO sticker is on the reverse side, selecting 3 tracks for airplay (see pics).
