SOPHISTICATED LOVE / TENDER TIME ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST LIBRARY single by ORCHESTRA D.J. WILLIAMS aka JAYFIELD aka FRANCO ZAULI. Original Italian pressing on MAGIC RECORD label (NP 1009), from circa mid '70s. Little known and spellbinding Italian library single by the cult arranger / composer behind the hottest King Zerand releases. A beautifully stoned and cosmic double-sider with spaced-out disco lounge / balearic hippie and sexy rhythms galore :) Sleazy orchestrations / mellow flute and clever tempo changes. A distinct French OST undercurrent with cool basslines / boom bap drums / psychedelic wah wah and acoustic guitars too. Very atmospheric sounds for fashion shows and great for lounge DJs. Our soundclip opens with the lysergic disco of TENDER TIME followed by SOPHISTICATED LOVE with its Roberto Pregadio style piano motifs / gorgeous scat harmony / synthesizers and laidback hip hop beats that kick in midway ;) Unique arrangements for an unknown Italian soundtrack / television or radio programme. Next level Library item for those who understand this beautiful mutant strain of Italian disco ;) Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with some hairlines. Superb production sound. Some light surface noises. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with light general wear. Ring creasing and some very light dirt marks from storage. A few coloured spots to bottom of front sleeve from the original printing process. Minimal corner wear. Rare OST 45!!!
