TARGET / IRONY / DEW / MISLY ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST / LIBRARY EP single by ORCHESTRA Mc KARL. Original Italian pressing on the GOLDEN RECORD label (FC 1031), from 1974. Super-obscure, Italian Library session by the mysterious arranger. For us, McKarl's funkiest and most desirable recording on this elusive Library series. Stoned lounge funk with flute / spacey e-piano / synthesizers and psychedelic wah wah. Lots of sleazy hip hop drums / beats and breaks too. This is the EP that features the killer Woman's Colours style lounge funk of IRONY and TARGET with an un-credited Giancarlo Barigozzi on flute duty. The guitarist on this session was most probably Massimo Verardi (of Fonit UST 177 infamy) as he and Barigozzi both played on other Golden Record sessions ;) Great for DJs. Both themes comped on Mo'Plen 2000 for the Irma label. The synth disco and wah wah (with fuzz solo) theme MISLY was comped on Mo'Plen 3000. Mood music for an unknown Italian soundtrack / television or radio programme. Seldom comes up for sale. Rare EP!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with some hairlines and faint scuffs. Surface noises. Some soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on the soundclip). The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with general creasing from storage. Ring dirt marks (mostly all to the blank back sleeve). A touch of wear to corners and edges. Rare Library EP!!!
