ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK - "ORGANISATION" 1980 UK LIMITED EDN LP + BONUS 7" EP
ARTIST - ORCHESTRAL MANOEUVRES IN THE DARK (OMD)
TITLE - "ORGANISATION"
FORMAT - vinyl LP + 7" EP
OTHER DETAILS -
• Dindisc DID 6 / DEP 2, 1980 UK pressing
• Limited Edition with bonus 4-track 7" EP
• Complete with Fan Club insert
The second OMD album, this is an original 1980 UK limited edition issue, which comes with a bonus 4-track 7" EP and a Fan Club insert.
First issue released in a grey sleeve with a bonus 7" EP advertised by a sticker with text, which reads: "DID 6, Includes free artifact The unreleased '78 tapes". Include a merchandise / fanclub form insert. Subsequent copies were released without the bonus 7", in either a grey or a black sleeve.
As seems to often be the case with this release, the album sleeve does show some signs of age, storage etc. as follows - some edge/seam (bottom seam, spine a little to top seam) and corner wear/rubbing in places, some outer rim wear (mainly to rear at top) and a quite small bend/ripple to rear (bottom right corner). There are also some small 'foxing' spots dotted about, to front (middle and by sticker top right) and rear (easier to see in pic. 4) and also to the insert. However, NO splits, tears, writing or major problems etc. - please hover over/enlarge and study all pictures above. Note that the bonus 7" comes in an unusual white sleeve that basically looks like a white paper bag with a circluar hole cut in the middle! I am assured that this is the original sleeve that was issued with this EP. The album is visually in a nice, clean EX+ condition with the spindle traces on the labels suggesting just a couple of plays only. The bonus 7" EP is EX although note that the 'finish' on Side One is somewhat dull, rather than the usual bright sheen.
UK and overseas buyers - please note that I will only send fully tracked and insured within the UK and either by Tracked & Signed For service (fully insured) or by eBay's Global Shipping Programme overseas (your choice) - also note that any fees which may be charged by ebay are imposed by them entirely, NOT me, and any customs fees/import duties or taxes are down to the laws of your country, again not me, and are to be paid by the buyer - I have no say or influence as to how much any further costs, if any, may be and will not mark as a 'gift' or put a lower price on the customs declaration, sorry! If in any doubt, please investigate if there will be any further costs to you BEFORE bidding.
Please see all pictures above and if you have any questions or need any more info., don't hesitate to get in touch.
Cover and labels are as seen in the pictures above (actual item shown) - see below for record grading, which obviously applies to records which have been played ONLY!
Please note that all vinyl is visually graded under a bright halogen bulb - it is only play-graded if specifically stated.
POSTAGE AND PACKING
UK - £4.50 by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or £5.50 by Royal Mail Tracked 24. 'Signed For' services are extra.
ELSEWHERE - please select the 'Postage & Payments' tab, then choose your country from the drop-down menu and click on 'get rates' - thanks.
VINYL GRADING
NEW: note that still sealed items will be presumed to be in 'new' condition, but are obviously sold as seen. Any visible signs of wear/storage etc. beneath the shrinkwrap will be mentioned.
MINT: note please note that I will NEVER use the 'MINT' grade, as I think you are asking for trouble! The highest grade for an item that is not new will use will be NM (Near Mint).
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in very close to 'as new' condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in almost perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played a number of times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and maybe some occasional light scratches. If there is any surface noise it will be occasional, light and unobtrusive. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has obviously been played a lot and while it still plays through OK, it will have a lot of surface marks and/or light scratches (maybe also the occasional 'feelable' scratch) and most likely there there will be regular and noticeable surface noise. The cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine and/or seam splits, discoloration, etc.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
*Important* - the ONLY countries I will send to by uninsured mail are as follows: -
- UK.
- Europe (EU countries ONLY and Norway).
- USA and Canada.
- Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
If you live anywhere else then your parcel MUST be insured, the cost of which is to be covered by the buyer. Very sorry, but NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
If you live in a country that I am prepared to send by regular, uninsured mail please bear in mind that I always get a receipt and proof of posting for every item sent, but THERE WILL NOT BE A TRACKING NUMBER UNLESS YOU HAVE PAID FOR INSURED/TRACKED MAIL. Should an item take longer than expected to arrive, I will do everything I can to help, but please don't assume that there is a tracking number! Most overseas buyers seem to assume this, for some reason! If you want the item to be tracked, please choose the 'International Signed For' option at checkout - thanks!
Finally, please note that if your item (or if the combined values of the items in a single parcel) is £20.00 or above, then insurance is compulsory wherever you live. This is an extra £1.10 for 'Signed For' in the UK (up to the value of £50, after which extra cover will need to be paid for by the buyer) or an extra £5.30 for overseas buyers to cover 'International Signed For'.
