Wilson Record:
James Welch Organ -
RECITAL -
Wilson Audio Specialties W-278 -
AWESOME! –
Factory Sealed
If you are a student of organ, or an audiophile fan of natural recordings, pull up a listening chair.
This is from David Wilson of Wilson Audio, who started recording years back, so that he could have material with which he was utterly familiar to help him design better loudspeakers. (He was designing Wilson WATT/Puppies at the time.)
This is one of those recordings, oh yes, so very natural in its delivery (never a doubt as where anything is within the acoustic), in the playing of Koetsier's PARTITA FOR ENGLISH HORN AND ORGAN, Bach's NUN KOMM DER HEIDENHEILAND and CONCERTO IN G MAJOR, Pepping's KLEINES ORGELBUCH, and Carvalho's SONATA IN D MAJOR.
A wonderful record, of a Flentrop, simply stunning in playback. From one of the finest "ears" on the planet. Amongst his most rare recordings, here factory sealed.
(Please note, the shrink-wrap is popped along the mouth of the album almost all the way, without travail. The LP is brand new, unplayed.)
For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $14 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
