We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday. We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

RARE and in demand....Original 70's first pressing vinyl in nice laminated gatefold cover....
Ñu• combines a dramatic hard progressive sound with elegant instrumentations ...electric violin, whirling flute, keyboards and violent guitar. Their sound, although progressive in nature, is more in the realm of hard rock with blues influences but with a peculiar sound thanks to the magical effects of flutes and violins. Their music reminds a much harder JETHRO TULL meets IL BALLETO DI BRONZO & early DEEP PURPLE.
Ñu opens right up with the extended "A Golpe de Látigo" a wild whip cracking scorcher with vocals straight out of Il Balletto Do Bronzo's "YS" album -- crazy hard-rock/progressive with fantastic rhythms.
When you listen to the almost classical intro for "A La Casa Del Ñu", some Jon Lord (Deep Purple's organ) flavour is there, no doubt. Deep Purple to JethroTull influences. This is the direction of the band in this song. The wild torchered vocals are on a rampage. Ñu shows off its hard-rock progressions throughout the album; although that the combination of flute, mellotron and violin makes it a bit too bold to categorize purely as hard (heavy)-rock band.
"El Flautista" ("The Flautist"). A marvel of a high level progressive sound akin to the classic Italians of the early 70's, dominated by whirling flute of course with brilliant interplay : heavy progressive Tull ? This song is really great.
It's too bad that this band didn't have more exposure. They were very popular in Spain but in other parts of the world, they are unknown. For those who are curious to discover them, you won't be disappointed.
"La Galería" (The Gallery) is probably closer to "Focus" this time. This is also a strong progressive track and the backing sweeping violin certainly adds to the feeling, but, you have to admit that the band combines the qualities of Jethro Tull, Il Balletto Di Bronzo & Deep Purple influences throughout this track as well.
"Velocidad" ("Speed") is a heavy jammer. The flipped out soaring tracks are a warning for a soar throated vocalist, wow. Just as heavy in the first half, is "The Arrival Of The Gods" ("La Llegada De Los Dioses") but then the second part is just grandiose. Great backing violins and a superb guitar solo.
This album is a strong mix of heavy progressive (while "Cuentos de Ayer Y de Hoy" was hard-rock oriented) and very accessible for anyone into the various styles mentioned above -- even though the vocals are in Spanish, does not detract a bit, as the vocals are so violent, one couldn't follow the words no matter what language.
"El Expresso" (The Express) is the last track and most highlighted song of the album. Not as crazy as other tracks involved, the violin will temper the heavy rhythms that are the essence of Ñu. Great keys and fluting from Molina (this guy is incredible!)

CONDITION: The cover: Nice laminated gatefold cover is near"EX"(excellent) with no split seams, no bends, no writing...collectible with no need to upgrade...
The vinyl: Hard to descibe because, at worst has only a hint of very passive minor surface -- had to listen real hard to detect anything -- the whole LP play graded excellent and enjoyable = while visible the vinyl, under strong light, looks lightly scuffy ...seen some of these Spanish & Italian 70's productions look like this before - see 'Bla Bla' Italian label for example. There is also a light date stamp on one label side.
