This is another one of those real rare records by Elvis Presley that I had in my personal collection. From 1954, its one of his first recordings on Sun label. It is the Sun label number 210, song titles are: "I DON'T CARE IF THE SUN DON'T SHINE" & "GOOD ROCKIN' TONIGHT". I no longer have a player for records of any kind, and as hard as it is to see him go, its time for my Elvis collection to leave the building. I had this record displayed on my rec.room walls for a long time, and I probably have not played it for 20 years or more. I will only be doing a visual grade of the record, but, I can tell you this, I know other then the back ground noises, the record plays through without skips or hang ups, so I am calling the record good. I have the Sun label #209 on another auction, and I know they both play through. It goes without saying, that a good cleaning will be in order here, because I know this record will have dust accumulated by now. I can both see, and feel the press markings on the record, it has wear and scuffs, but it does not have any deep scratches that will interfere with playing. The label has wear on both sides, and one side has a smaller spot scribbled, what looks to me like a name may have been crossed out, and that was there when I bought it a long time ago. I'm sure it could be removed, but I never tryed. The trail off on one side reads: 1 - 130 - 45 72, then it has a small diamond and the number 1122. The other side has 1- 131 - 45 72, then the small diamond again and number 1123. Again the record has wear and scuffs, it's nearly 55 years old, and during the first 55 years of my life, I got a whole bunch of scuffs, and a lot of wear also. But anyway, the record will be a good playing record, both sides. It will come in a SUN label record sleeve, and it will be sandwiched between 1/2 inch styrophome inside my package for mailing.
