Description
ORIGINAL 1975 JA Upsetter acetate dubplate 10"45rpm, NOT A RECUT DUBPLATE :
ALL TUNES WERE CUT FROM THE MASTER TAPE AT THE BLACK ARK, with a far much heavier sound than heard on the usual vinyl records, with some studio sounds, tape rewind... the Michael Rose is here in its full glory, wicked sound, full lenght, putting the JA Upsetter 7" to shame - no need to write a word about the Dug Out low-fi repress.
One side have SUSAN CADOGAN "Hurt so good" with studio sounds intro and full lenght + MICHAEL ROSE "Obserb life" full lenght. Next side have UPSETTERS "Obserbing dub" with the SUSAN CADOGAN voice behind, in the background of the track, which is totally exclusive. You can hear Lee Perry running back the tape at the end of the track. Then comes the DIAMONDS "Talk about it" (with some Susan Cadogan voice in the intro background) full lenght, heavy Black Ark sound as well.
