• Dantalion's  Chariot's live appearances were amazing. They took to the stage in white robes and had what was generally regarded as the best light show in town. The only problem was this ensured they made heavy financial loses with every appearance. They also appeared in 'Pop Down', a Fred Marshall film about the excesses of Swingin' London seen through the eyes of two visitors from outer space named Sagittarius and Aries. The film, by all accounts, was appalling but it did feature music from Blossom Toes and an embryonic Idle Race as well.

• At the TOP of the heap when talking prized British 60's psychedelics with their single “Madman Running Through The Fields” which has become highly sought. People began wondering what had happened to the studio material the group had recorded and would have made up their formal first album that was not to be - until this (long gone/rare) numbered first pressing.
•  Finally pressed to vinyl around 1995, along with a compact disc containing bonus material, those who’d waited all these years, filled with anticipation, found that the album didn’t travel the heavy psych path rumors had generated for so many years. Instead what was delivered traveled a lighter path, much like the Strawberry Alarm Clock, filled with effects and affectations of backwards playing, lysergic narratives, and an endless array of eclectic meandering where the material, some better than others ... Quite and not quite the psych tour de force as expected
  
  Without a doubt while this is a most interesting collection of songs and ideas from a hazy-daze time in musical history, Dantalian’s Chariot just weren’t the counter to Pink Floyd so many were hoping for, in the end, they were a gifted group who laced together some trippy songs to be listened to from beginning to end.
  
  *** The Fun Facts: Dantalian was a Duke of Hell, referencing “The Key Of Solomon,” The Key of Solomon is a pseudepigraphical grimoire attributed to King Solomon. It probably dates back to the 14th or 15th century Italian Renaissance. It presents a typical example of Renaissance magic, with the Key of Solomon inspiring later works, particularly the 17th century grimoire also known as Clavicula Salomonis Regis, The Lesser Key of Solomon or Lemegeton, although there are many differences between the books.
