Description

ORIGINAL 1898 Berliner Gramophone 7-inch Phonograph Record #235W, featuring "THE SERAPH"  "CORNET SOLO BY MR. W. PARIS CHAMBERS" recorded JULY 14, 1898 in NEW YORK CITY.
This 121 year old record plays great from start to finish on my modern turntable.  Chambers' cornet solo on this record is simply BREATHTAKING!  Chambers was a master of the cornet as can be heard on this wonderful recording.
There are a few small very light surface scratches and scuffs.  W. P. Chambers signature is on the master above the spindle hole.  1898 Berliner Gramophone records in this condition are very difficult to find.
Please see pictures for details and ask questions as desired.
Our packaging is some of the finest you will find anywhere.
